Each sale counted once
Orders are keyed on the POS's own IDs, so a resent order or a repeated webhook never doubles revenue or takes stock off twice.
Hospitality · POS
Every till knows what was sold, but stock, accounting, payroll and head-office reports each get their own copy: by export, by hand, or not at all. We connect Toast, Lightspeed or Square to the rest of your systems, so every site reports the same way and a site that stops sending data is noticed the same day.
When teams call us
“We have 20 sites and nobody trusts the group numbers until finance has fixed them by hand.” “A menu change takes a week to reach every till.” “We're changing POS and every connection has to be rebuilt.” In a 2025 Hospitality Technology survey, 44% of restaurant operators named integration with older systems as their biggest operational challenge.
Stock that doesn't match sales means a food cost nobody can explain. Payroll runs on the wrong hours. A site whose feed stopped on Friday reports no sales, and nobody notices until the weekly meeting. We see this from the other side in our own Kitchen Back Office service, where a period only closes once stock, invoices and write-offs agree.
What we deliver
How it holds up
Orders are keyed on the POS's own IDs, so a resent order or a repeated webhook never doubles revenue or takes stock off twice.
Webhooks are stored before they are processed. After an outage, the missing hours are fetched again from the POS API instead of leaving a hole in the day.
Each site's figures are compared with the POS's own daily report. A difference raises an alert, rather than surfacing in the month-end accounts.
Proof
We don't list past client POS work here. Our restaurant proof is our own stock and food-cost product; the same checks on missing and duplicated data run in production in our banking and data work.
Our own back-office service for restaurants: the kitchen sends photos and voice notes, we close the stock counts and report P&L and food cost on our Kitchen app.
Our own app for hotel housekeeping: daily room tasks on staff phones, live room status for supervisors and reception, supplies tracked per room.
Often built together: hotel PMS integration and back-office software for your sites.
Price
A POS integration starts from €10,000 (£8,700 · $11,500), billed by milestone. Typical length: weeks. Most groups start with the integration audit, a fixed-price first step whose fee is credited in full if you build with us.
Questions
Any POS with a documented API or a reliable export. Cloud systems such as Toast, Lightspeed and Square publish APIs and webhooks; some ask for partner approval before production access, which we go through with you on your company's account. Older on-site tills can often be reached through an export or the vendor's middleware, and the audit tells you which.
Yes, and for a group it is often the right design: the POS stays the till, and your own back office for stock, recipes and reporting gets clean data from it. We know that back office well, because stock counts and food cost per dish are what our own Kitchen app does.
Yes, once the scope is clear. After the integration audit or a scoping call, we fix the scope and price of each milestone in writing. Integrations start from €10,000 (£8,700 · $11,500).
You do, from the first commit. We work in your repository and your accounts, and the contract assigns the IP to you in the present tense, not at some later date.
The engineers named in the proposal, and you meet them before you sign. A key-person clause means nobody is swapped without your written consent.
We work on Lisbon time, which is the same clock as London: Mon–Fri, 08:00–18:00 UK time. That leaves about four working hours a day in common with the US East Coast. You get a demo of working software every week and a short written update every working day.
A master services agreement with a statement of work for each project, or your own paper if you prefer. A mutual NDA before we see anything, and a GDPR data processing agreement. US clients get a W-8BEN-E from us. Which law governs the contract is answered on Contracts & security.
The fixed-price first step is paid upfront. Builds are billed by milestone, after you have seen the work running. Monthly care, if you want it, is billed at the start of each month. We invoice in euros, pounds or dollars.
Free 30-minute call
You talk to an engineer who would work on it, not a salesperson. You leave the call knowing what it would take and what the first step costs, or we tell you that you don't need us.
